About

I originally started photographing bands passing through Cyprus Avenue and other Cork venues while studying in UCC. As a result of my developing interest in music, I also became involved in Cork Campus Radio.

In 2008 I decided to gain a qualification in what to that point were my pastimes, and chose to pursue an M.Sc in Multimedia in DCU, Dublin. This also allowed me to photograph larger bands in larger venues, as well as continuing my involvement in radio by providing interview and reviews.

During the summer of 2009, I was part of a group of 3 that, for our masters major project, produced a number of music videos for rising bands.

Summer 2009 also saw me photograph the Indiependecne festival in Cork, and become a photographer for state.ie and Phantom 105.2, while photos of mine have also been used by MCD, The Irish Times, Hotpress, TheFly, InDublin, Sunday TribuneĀ and various bands. I am also a regular contributor to GoldenPlec.
